Adenium’s Story

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Elena Stachew founded Adenium Consulting in late 2024. Following the sudden passing of her business partner, Kwame Botchway, Elena desired to carry forward the mission begun with Kwame at Citadel Impact Consulting. Adenium blends strategy, research, and on-the-ground experience to help mission-driven organizations execute on their good ideas and create real impact. We bring a diverse array of backgrounds from philanthropy, community health, climate and sustainability, to education - paired with a deep commitment to racial, social, and environmental justice.

The firm operates through a collaborative of experts model. We work within a curated network of subcontracted specialists with multidisciplinary backgrounds, bringing the right expertise to each engagement rather than a fixed staff roster.
